Deputy Valeriu Ghileţchi was elected as Vice-Chairman of the Group of the European People's Party of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. Our official gained this position during an internal election of the party.

The post of EPP Group Chairman was obtained by Polish Deputy Aleksander Pociej. The President of the European People's Party, Joseph Daul, congratulated the new leadership and was convinced that the elected representatives will carry out the mission of the Council of Europe with responsibility.

EPP is the most influential political group in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
