The Government prepares to shoot 100 000 birds and wild animals of our country, says the former Environment Minister, Valeriu Munteanu.

The former Liberal mentions the Governmental decision regarding the hunting season 2019-2020 that is following to be approved in the next Parliamentary sessions is the most fierce document of the last years.

According to Munteanu, in 2019-2020 season, the Environment Ministry is following to reintroduce hunting in the protected natural reservations. 

'Only in the Natural reservation 'Padurea Domneasca' will be shot 88 boars. Moldova is the poorest country regarding wild animals. The following draft law project is one of the harshest of the last 20 years, because of allowing to kill 96 200 hares, pheasants, geese, ducks, puddle hens, pigeons, quails and boars, this way being spilled tones of wild animals' blood', mentioned Valeriu Munteanu.

In this context, the former Liberal came with a request to the PM Maia Sandu: 'I respectfully request to find time to study this subject for the Government to protect the nature, not to encourage blood spilling'.
