Vestmoldtransgaz selling-purchasing agreement brought 180 million lei in state budget
Pavel Filip prime minister held a meeting with Danut Andrusca, the Romanian Minister of Economy and Ion Sterian, the general director of Transgaz company and discussed about the privatization of Vestmoldtransgaz company.
Due to the implementation of the contract's conditions, today, they signed the certificate to sign the selling-purchasing agreement of Vestmoldtransgaz. The Moldovan budget will index 180 million lei after the transaction.
Prime Minister Pavel Filip thanked the teams from Eurotrangaz and Trangaz Romania for their efforts and assured Transgaz leadership of the Moldovan Government's full support for the quickest launch of tendering, procurement and construction procedures for the Ungheni-Chisinau gas pipeline. Transgaz is set to invest around 93 million Euro.
"This pipe line will provide the energetic security of our country and will bring us closer to the European system", said Pavel Filip.
The privatization contract was signed on March 28.
Ungheni-Chisinau pipeline is 120 kilometers long and has a capacity to transport 1,5 billion cubic meters of natural gas from Romania to Moldova.
