Today, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the activity plan for the Cernobil Catastrophe Victims Commemoration Day that is celebrated yearly on April 26. The document contains a vast range of activities that will organized by Chisinau municipality.

On April 26, a Memory march will take place in Chisinau, but also flower layout at the monument of Stefan cel Mare and a commemoration meeting a the memorial of Cernobil catastrophe victims.

In this day, Chisinau, but also the other districts of the country will organize meetings and will remember the victims of the catastrophe. 

The Government will offer a material aid to the families of the victims. 

Along this year, monuments to commemorate the victims of Cernobil will be built in Şoldăneşti, Taraclia, Briceni, Sîngerei, Străşeni, Comrat and Ceadîr-Lunga.

Also, a book about them will be written.

Now, in Moldova there are 2000 participants of Cernobil catastrophe.
