Village from Ialoveni received "2019 Youth Capital" title
A group of young turned a village from Ialoveni district in the 2019 Youth Capital. This title was gained by Costesti village after a contest organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research.
Thus, the 13 thousand residents of the village gained some money, but also the right to organized many activities for the young.
"First of all, we are always get involved in different activities, if we were passive, then we wouldn't be an example for others."
The activities evolved within the program of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research allocated one million lei.
Also, Costesti City Hall and Ialoveni City Hall allocated 700 thousand lei.
The manager of the program assures that the money will be spent rationally.
"We launched the program. We will also have a reporter who will write about our events."
"It is not hard to find a team, it is harder to find people who will dedicate their time and make volunteering activities. Regardless what time is it, we should always be online and talk with the people", said Maria Bivol, the leader of the project.
The villagers say that their locality deserves this title.
"Out village is very big. We have a lot of young."
The ministry of Education is sure that Costesti will not disappoint them.
"Indeed, they were well-prepared. I hope that this year will be a good one to improve the youth", said Radu Rebeja, state secretary at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research.
