Chisinau Zoo is being modernized. Its administration is setting up Rural Court, a place for visitors to caress and feed animals and take photo with them. 

Zoo administrators consider this arrangement will attract more visitors, especially children. 

All upgrading and landscaping works of the zoo are made from their own financial resources.

With over 1600 animals, the zoo attracts about 300,000 visitors annually.
