Vlad Plahotnic: Russia is harassing Moldovan officials
                          American officials show interest according to events from Republic of Moldova and encourages it to continue in the same way. The declaration was made by Vlad Plahotniuc, the PDM President, after the meetings he had in the USA.
"In my opinion, our visit in Washington is a very important one for our country. Especially, when the Chisinau leading is in an ample modernization process. We are still vulnerable at the economy, energy, military, informational security chapters. At the same time, it is not a secret that Moldova is the target of a massive war from Russia. Everything can finish bad for our country. It can even disappear", declared Vlad Plahotniuc, PDM President.
In the USA, Vlad Plahotniuc had an interview for Reuters. He declared that Russia is harassing Moldovan politicians through making a lot of fake files.
The PDM leader added that Moscow's target is to protect persons who activate in their interest on Moldova's territory. Plahotniuc mentioned that those files coincided with developing money laundering investigation.
The democratic leader waits for Moscow's repressions to increase more and more, after the Parliament voted new project of law according to banning foreign propaganda in Moldova. In the article published on Reuters is cited a declaration of Sergiu Sirbu, where he says the interdiction refers only to informative, analytic and military programs, it is not about banning some TV channels.
The journalists notice the President of Moldova, Igor Dodon refused to approve the document. When the interview was about to finish, the PDM leader, assured that despite the Russian pressures, the Chisinau authorities will continue to implement the reforms according to the democracy consolidation.
The interview arrived in the sight of international press and was taken by many press agencies, among which: the New York Times, Daily Mail, US News and Business Insider.
Within their visit to the USA, the Moldovan officials had meetings with representatives of many american institutions, inclusively with USA's Congress members. They discussed about the reforms from Moldova, the European Integration, the transnistrean confict and the regional security.
