Yesterday, Vlad Plahotniuc, the chairman of the Democratic Party from Moldova who is also the leader of the Governing Coalition met the Turkey President, Recep Tayyp Erdogan, who pays an official visit to Moldova.
Vlad Plahotniuc mentioned that the current Government is the only one who managed to have a very good strategic relationship with the three neighbors and partners of the Black Sea region: Romania, Ukraine and Turkey.
The discussion with President Erdogan also focused on improving the cooperation between the two countries and attract more Turkish investors.
Vlad Plahotniuc also pointed out that the political, strategical, economical, or regional cooperation relationship between Moldova and Turkey registered a progress over the last three years. Here, he mentioned the experience exchange between the two countries in the key areas, such as construction, tourism and agriculture.
The President of Turkey pays an official visit to the Republic of Moldova between October 17 and 18. He scheduled meetings with officials from Chisinau and Gagauz Autonomy. Also, he will attend the inauguration of projects implemented due to the Turkish support.
