Vlad Plahotniuc congratulates teachers across country: "We owe them who we are today"
The whole country celebrates today the National Day of Teachers. On this ocassion, Prime Vice President of Democratic Party of Moldova, Vlad Plahotniuc conveyed a message of gratitude for parents and teachers on a social network.
The message reads:
"We owe what we have today to our parents and teachers.
Parents have given us life and guidance, teachers gave us knowledge and have motivated our curiosity. They have conveyed the respect and appreciation to all teachers of the country that I respect not only for their job, but also because they do their job despite the uneasy conditions in schools, but mostly they assume the role of being an example for the young people and sacrifice their free time and energy to live up to their noble mission.
The influence that teachers have on children in their education, in their preparation for life is huge.
Namely for this role, I believe that teachers deserve our support today, on National Day of Education, but also on a daily basis.
I was lucky enough to grow in a family of teachers, through library books, I always studied from the curiosity and ambition realizing that I will use them in life.
My parents, my teachers, I owe them who I am today. Thank you! " , wrote Vlad Plahotniuc.
