Vlad Plahotniuc applied for the post of deputy in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova for the Parliamentary elections of February 24, 2019 in the uninominal district number 17 in Nisporeni. In a post written on a social network, the leader of the Democrats said he is proud of the people in the native district, but also with the people of Moldova.

"I am proud of people from my district and my country. I have invested my energy and determination for my people's welfare. Me and my whole team will continue work #ForMoldova".

The Democratic Party of Moldova launched the electoral campaign for Parliamentary Elections on February 24 with the slogan: Acts, not words! The DPM chairman said that by this campaign will depend if the order, political stability, economic growth will continue in our country or it will be a chaos, debauchery and poverty.
