Vlad Plahotniuc, PDM President, met with Ted Poe,the Member of the American Congress, Dr. Asif Chaudhry, former US Ambassador to Republic of Moldova, as well as with the representatives of the Atlantic Council in Chisinau for the Inter-parliamentary Summit "Georgia, Republic of Moldova and Ukraine: Eastern Partnership and current security challenges. "
Within the discussions, the PDM President approached the need to have a balanced perspective in Washington on political developments in the Republic of Moldova, and to strengthen the support of Congress and strategic circles in the United States for our country and for the region, especially in the context of the recent there was registered a resolution within the US Parliament.

We have consistently found support in the US Congress, through trusted partners like Ted Poe, for the security objectives of the Republic of Moldova.
