Vlad Plahotniuc: PDM is still a pro-European party. The reforms are more important for us than the money
Within an interview realized by IPN, Vlad Plahotniuc said that PDM remains a pro-Eurpean party and for them the reforms are more important than the money.
Also, Plahotniuc said that PDM is a pro-Moldova party and the results will be seen starting September.
"During 27 years, all the parties from Moldova said their either pro-European or pro-Russia, while others were pro-Union with Romania. None of the parties were pro-Moldova. All of them were based on foreign aligners. We think that the time for PDM to show its position has came.
Within 27 years, the Moldovans were fed with promises and illusions. Our politicians made great promises for years. They were going to Brussels or Moscow and saying how great it is there.
Our parties expected that the Europeans, the Americans, Romanians or Russians will solve our problems. This is why many leaders from abroad benefited of this situation and got involved in the politics of our country. The thing is that if we want progress we should work for it ragher than expect others do it for us", said Vlad Plahotniuc, the chairman of PDM.
What about the changes that will occur this autumn, the politician said:
"The details follow, but, what is more important, our actions. We have to concern ourselves with the interests of Moldova, rather than being addicted to projects oriented strictly outward, to ensure the necessary order, to start changing our mentality. That is why the PDM will change its approach, it will focus, first of all, on solving the problems of citizens with the internal resources we have and we will improve.
At the same time, Moldova's external partnerships must bring a surplus of resources for development, not for the survival of the country, as it has been for years. I will not tell you all the news now, we will communicate them at the right time, but what I wanted to highlight is that we listen to the voice of the people and the people, and they say in unison that they want to live better here at home , in Moldova. They are all, in fact, for Moldova."
