Vlad Plahotniuc to meet leader of Socialist International: direction of Moldovan governance is correct
Moldovan measures against corruption as well as to implement economic reforms were discussed by PDM chairman, Vlad Plahotniuc and the Socialist International leader, George Papandreou in New York.
The meeting took place in the Socialist International Council, between 11 and 12 July, aimed at strengthening the political relationship between the Democratic Party and the Socialist International.
Vlad Plahotniuc enunciated that Moldova's direction and governance had been confirmed correct by foreign development partners.
The Democratic leader had an exchange of views with George Papandreou on the reforms implemented by Moldovan government. In this respect, Vlad Plahotniuc presented his actions in the fight against corruption , which bring about significant changes.
Vlad Plahotniuc is vice-president of the Socialist International Council. He highly praised the political experience of this organization's leader and invited George Papandreou to Moldova to share the experience of his PDM colleagues. In turn, George Papandreou thanked Vlad Plahotniuc for the role the Democratic Party plays in the Socialist International.
