Vlad Plahotniuc will run on No.17 constituency, in Nisporeni
Vlad Plahotniuc, the President of the Democratic Party will run on No.17 constituency in Nisporeni, his native district. Such a decision has been taken by the members of CEC. Plahotniuc will be the first one in the ballot.
In the same constituency will run a communist, a socialist, a representative of PAS-PPDA alliance and an independent candidate.
The democratic leader gathered over one thousand signatures necessary for the electoral race. Vlad Plahotniuc will take its candidate's legitimacy.
"I am glad that the representatives of the Constituency Commission accepted Vlad Plahotniuc to run in this constituency. I know that we will win and we will gain the expected result, because Mr.Vlad Plahotniuc has always supported the residents of Nisporeni", said Vasile Bitca, the President of Nisporeni Territorial Organization.
According to the residents of Nisporeni, their town has changed a lot due to the DPM and Edelweiss foundation's projects. They even compare their Christmas fair with the ones from Europe. Last autumn, a windmill was built, it is a symbol of the city and a touristic attraction.
Vlad Plahotniuc took care about the health of the retired. Over 6.000 old from the district benefited of free medical check ups within "The caravan of vision" campaign launched by Edelweiss.
Totally, in eight years since it was founded, the foundation helped over 430 thousand people. The candidate from Nisporeni has a large experience in politics. Between 2010 and 2013, he was vice president of the Parliament. He gave up on being a deputy, so he can spend more time with the citizens and find out their problems and needs, but also to apply many projects. Then, he came back in the Parliament. In 2016, he became the President of the Democratic Party.
In March 2017, Vlad Plahotniuc became the vice President of the International Socialiste, that has approximately 150 party members. DPM leader came in politics after building a carer in business.
In 10 years, he was working in banks and petrol companies. In 2010, Vlad Plahotniuc founded the Association of Businessmen from Moldova who promote the exports, attract foreign investments and encourage the young to develop their own business. In the past years, AOAM offered grants worth two million lei.
"2018 was a good year for business, maybe the best in past 10 years", declared Vlad Plahotniuc, the President of AOAM.
Vlad Plahotniuc has a degree in law, but also he studied engineering.
