Vice President of the Democratic Party of Modolova, Vladimir Cebotari offered an interview for Moldpres. Cebotari highlighted the role of PDM in society, but also the need to govern for citizens.
"Party meetings are a rule or something common for party life, and when you are in government, these meetings come a lot more often. We have party meetings every day on the party platform We have two and a half years since we took over the governance of these countries, we are about to have a likely parliamentary session, but also a very active time, we need to set our priorities. They have to be shared by those who represent the voice of the citizens.
The topic of the discussion to emphasize the need to govern for citizens was at the heart of the debates we had yesterday.
Throughout this period of PDM's assumption of government, he actually ruled and watched the projects that were made for Moldova and its citizens. All the reforms that have been made are for people, perhaps two years ago it was less popular to communicate about the interest of the citizens. No one will come to solve our problems.
Every action must be done at home. When we set the foundation for a healthy economy, or when we convinced the 6,000 young people to return to Moldova, that means taking care of your citizens. European integration means the free movement of people and goods. Here is our work, not in talks in markets or in protests.
As to necessity, why do we need to communicate with citizens? Look at how divided our society has become. We do not have to be divided according to geopolitical preferences. Why do our societies have to be divided or their families separated? A country is weak when divided.
Let's talk about Maia Sandu. Tell me if Merkel came to Moldova? Does Bruxell have competence to make decisions to him? Dodon came to solve problems, but he did nothing. He participates in the act of power, but he does not want, is sitting on one side and looking, criticizing. Who are the politicians who go to foreign capitals only? How much money is going on? I do not say that the PDM team is ideal, that it does not make mistakes. Only those who do nothing do not make mistakes.
This project as Good Roads has been criticized, but Moldova has never had such a project. Take a look at the First House project, over 500 families stayed home. There are families that have 5 children and we are glad that they benefit from state aid. These projects were born in Moldova and are made of our money, it is the efficiency of collecting taxes here at home.
PDM is a powerful pardon and we take all our criticism. We criticize those who do nothing in the development of the state. We will gratefully take over any idea that will do our best to our country.
Government changes will be announced on Tuesday. We are going to talk over the next few days. We still have a little work, but we recognize that some things do not go the way we want. We have discussions with the citizens, we hear when these problems are not solved, we try to solve them but we do not always succeed. We do not want these things to be repeated. We are on the last hundred meters, we still have a few months when this government can work.
I admit, we have a list of candidates, but this list is also provisional. The decisions are legally to be taken, and the party follows the discussions in the territorial organizations. We help methodologically, present some data to ease the task of making a choice. We are pursuing certain principles that these candidates must match. We do not have a final decision.
First of all, Moldova has to be led by those who care about this country, not those who shout and praise, but those who can build. Those who do not promise but demonstrate this development, "Modolova Democratic Party vice-president Vladimir Cebotari said in an interview for the MOLDPRES.
