Lots of homeless people gathered last night at the shelter to pass over the first frosty night of the year. The shelter managers say they rejected no one.

The homeless don’t complain of the living conditions, being glad they can sleep in warmth and are given to eat.

"In the evening, about 80 - 90 of them some, because it’s cold outside. Sometimes we’ve got as many as 100," says an employee  of the homeless center.

The homeless accept to sleep on mats on the floor, least they should stay in the outside frost.

The Chisinau shelter can lodge up to 70 people.
