Warm temperatures caused fleas and mosquitoes to appear in basements of apartment buildings
Due to the warm temperatures maintaining in this period fleas and mosquitoes begun appearing in the basements of apartment buildings from Capital. People begun repelling the insects nearly one month earlier than usual.
The buildings from Lomonosov street were already sprayed with anti-bug spray.
"Those bugs usually keep one meter above the ground, you can feel them on the legs."
Workers ensured that in at least two months, the anti-bug spray will allow people to forget about the insects.
"Those works are welcomed, for the safety of our children."
"We were bitten by mosquitoes already."
People complain that every summer their apartments are invaded by bugs.
"The basement is filled with fleas that start jumping on you the moment you enter the room."
More often, those insects attack homeless animals, which bring them to basements.
"Fleas can be more often found on cats. Many apartment buildings lack the metal mesh, so they can easily enter the building" chief of Chisinau CSP section, Tudor Puiu said.
The works will continue to the middle of October.
"This project unfolds for many years, financed by the state, foreseeing around 1 million lei for 2018" chief of Housing and Communal Directorate, Vasile Efros said.
