An attempt to illegally export of 6,000 cigarettes of various brands, with an excise stamp of the Republic of Moldova, was countered by Chisinau International Airport employees.
The cigarettes were found in the suitcase of a Moldovan woman, registered for the Chisinau-London race. These were discovered in the baggage scanning, but also with the help of the specialized dog of the Customs.
The woman was fined 3,000 lei and the cigarettes were seized.
