A teenager was detained in the SPF Branza sector's responsibility while checking his pitfalls in order to catch wild birds in the Protected Area of the Prut River.

The suspect is 17 years old and is from the village of Valeni, Cahul district. Moreover, the suspect intended to install some traps to catch wild birds. 

Detained on the spot, the suspect recognized the guilt.

The teenager risks a fine from 7 to 12 conventional units for being in the border area without a license.

The representatives of the State Ecological Inspectorate were also informed about the events for the necessary documentation.
