A man hold as hostages his two children, his concubine and his mother in law. The victims were saved by policemen, due to a Fulger operation evolved in Botanica.

Within the intervention, the people of the law needed to use guns, because the aggressor was not that easy to stop. Because he tried to resist, the police killed him.

The 53 year old man threatened he will kill the members of his family if the police doesn't let him leave. 

The man started to hold the hostages when the Telenesti police came to his house to start an investigation. The aggressor was suspected of hooliganism and robbery.

"During the discussions, he was aggressive, he was threatening the members of the family and refused to unlock the flat", said Alexandru Panzaru, IGP chief.

As a consequence, the policemen destroyed the door of the flat. The intervention took 30 seconds.

"The blamed person tried to resist. He had a knife. My colleagues have been forced to kill him", said Alexandru Panzaru, IGP chief.

The man was transported by a SMURD equipment to the emergency hospital, where he died in a couple of hours. His mother in law says that it is not for the first time when he threatens them.

"What happened is terrible. He is threatening us for already wight years. Thank you for coming. He told me he will kill me", said Maria Popusoi, suspect's mother in law.

The neighbors of the family say that they heard screams.

According to the policemen, the man was previously sentenced for seven different encroaches.
