The public debate between two candidates Maia Sandu and Igor Dodon could take place on November 11. The announcement was made by Dodon himself, during a TV show.

"I am waiting for Maia Sandu for the debates that will take place on Wednesday. We have agreed that the debate will take place on neutral ground. We can do it even at the Academy of Economic Studies," said Igor Dodon.

PUBLIKA.MD recalls that Igor Dodon proposed to Maia Sandu to participate in two electoral debates for the second round. A statement issued by the campaign staff of the independent candidate states that Dodon wants the electoral debates to cover as wide an audience as possible and to respect the right of all media institutions to broadcast them.

At the same time, Maia Sandu mentioned that she agreed to have only one meeting with Dodon, and will do so out of respect for the citizens.
