Who is Nicolae Ciubuc

Nicolae Ciubuc is the new Minister of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment. Previously, Ciubuc was the director of the Intervention and Payment Agency for Agriculture, appointed in September 2016.
He began his career at the Ministry of Agriculture in 2004 as a consultant of the Legal Division and Harmonization of Legislation, where, after three years, he was appointed Deputy Chief.
Subsequently, he held high positions at Moldagroteh, at the Center for Standardization and Experimentation on the Quality of Canned Manufacturing, but was also a member of the Management Board of a bakery brewery in the country.
In the period 2010 - 2016 he was Deputy Director at AIPA. He studied Law at USM and is a Master in Public Management.
He is 37 years old and was born in Sadova village, Calarasi district.
He is married and has one child. He speaks Romanian, Russian and English.
