Last night, at around 3 AM, a 43-year-old woman was hit by a truck while illegally crossing the road on Chișinău - Soroca line. The 44-year-old driver claims that the victim appeared out of nowhere and he didn't notice her until it was too late.

After the impact the woman, from Găuzeni village, Rezina district deceased before help arrived.

The police is investigating the case to establish if it was the drivers fault.
