Woman from Salcuta village achieved age of 100 years. Edelweiss foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc congratulated her
She lived in the period of the Great Union from 1918 and survived two World Wars.
It is a bout Parascovia Ciobanu, from Salcuta village, Causeni district who celebrates her 100th birthday today. Today, her son, seven nephews and 15 grandchildren came to wish her happy birthday!
Her house was full of people. All the relatives came with presents and good wished. The woman said she is blessed as she feels great even at 100 years.
"The God knows how many days to give you to live. I am very thankful to God that I achieved this age", said Parascovia Ciobanu.
Parascovia Ciobanu had four children. Three of them suffered of plague. Only one of her sons survived.
"She was going to Poland to take carpets. She was going to Zaim to buy potatoes. She was bringing everything home, to prepare food", said Petru Ciobanu, son of the 100 year old woman.
The nephews are glad they have such a good grandmother who has always helped them.
"She is a great woman."
"Our grand grandmother is very patient, trustful, she understands us. She has always helped us."
Family of Parascovia Ciobanu decided to invite the representatives of Vlad Plahotniuc's foundation, Edelweiss at the birthday party. They came with presents and flowers.
"We wanted to come and wish her happy birthday", said Lidia Cucos, representative of Edelweiss foundation.
The representatives of the public administration offered a diploma and presents to Parascovia Ciobanu.
