A woman from Tiraspol found a handbag containing 3 000 Euro, 100 USD and documents. Without thinking much, she handed over the handbag to law enforcement.

"We came with a team to clean. While sweeping, I saw a woman's handbag in the grass. I took and opened it and saw money and documents" citizen from Tiraspol, Anna Otcaliuc said.

The woman has immediately went to the police.

"We received a call from a woman that claimed to have found a handbag. We contacted the woman and returned her the money and documents" Tiraspol citizen, Roman Bercun said.

The handbag's owner claims to have returned from vacation and only noticed that the handbag was missing upon arrival. She also declared that she had no hope of ever finding the handbag.

"I was disheartened and cried. I called my son and asked him to pray. I am very thankful to that woman. Thank you very much" the handbag's owner said.

The woman claims that she wishes to meet with the person who returned her the handbag, to personally thank her.
