Works of several children on both sides of River Nistru reached Strasbourg

On September 4th, in the exhibition area Lieu d'Europe in the city of Strasbourg, the exhibition of drawings Reintegration of the country in the pictures of children and young people was inaugurated, comprising about 100 works of children from both sides of the Dniester.
The event is organized by the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Moldova to the Council of Europe, the Office for Reintegration Policy of the State Chancellery and Lieu de l'Europe in the context of the same generic campaign conducted between May 7 and 25, 2018, aimed at promoting the goal of country reintegration through the creation of children and young people up to 18 years of age.
At the inauguration of the exhibition, Moldovan Permanent Representative, Corina Călugăru, participated in an opening speech. At the same time, the representatives of the diplomatic missions, the Council of Europe Secretariat, members of the Moldovan citizens' community established in Strasbourg, as well as the visitors appreciated the children's works and the sincere and profound message they send to the visitors.
The guests highlighted the relevance of the exhibition, which promotes the critical thinking of children and young people and serves as a tool for re-imagining the realities and the image of the future, an attitude towards the perception and expectations of young generations in strengthening the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Moldova.
The exhibition is open to the public between 1 and 07 September 2018 and includes works by children from 14 educational institutions on both banks of the Dniester: Theoretical Lyceum Gheorghe Asachi and Republican Center for Children and Youth ARTICO in Chisinau; The Alexandru cel Bun Theoretical High School and the boarding school for orphaned children and parents without care of Bender; The Vasile Alecsandri Theoretical High School from Ungheni; Mihai Eminescu Theoretical High School from Târgu Mureş Dubasari; Vlad Iovita Theoretical High School, Art School of Cocieri and Coşniţa village, Dorotcaia village and Gymnasium from Roghi village from Dubăsari district; School of Fine Arts in Târgu Mureş.
