World Health Day was marked today in Chisinau. Future doctors have shared fruits with the patients
Good food, physical exercise and regular doctor visits are the main ingredients for a long, happy life.
This is the message sent today by World Health Day by a group of doctors and medical students who have organized a flash-mob on this occasion.
According to doctors, most Moldovans come to a medical consultation when they can not take pain. The simplest but also the ignored rule is food. According to statistics, Moldovans love salt, sugar and fats and almost forget about fruits and vegetables.
"First of all, it is recommended to move, to work for at least 30 minutes each day. Limited consumption of salt, less than five grams, because the data show that we eat more than ten grams a day Healthy food with all the principles that are, we consume very little fruit and vegetables and surely abandon the vices", said doctor Virginia Salaru.
To diagnose the problem of eating, future doctors have shared fruits for patients from hospital number one in the Capital.
"I think that the greatest value they neglect is health, but they do not really care, unfortunately, and our role as nurses as doctors is to let them know how to do the right thing", said a student.
"Our population really needs some advice, some exhortations, to make as much movement, not to make excess fat of salt, to hydrate, and I think a good mood would encourage this process", said another scientist.
The patients admitted they do not really care about their health, and when it comes to visiting a doctor, they postpone it indefinitely. Some say they began to take care of their health only after the age of 50.
"After 50 years, we need to take care of our health. We need to reduce the amount of salt, sugar, fat and spices".
"I have three days since I left the hospital, I was operated. We needed health to keep it, because it's expensive. How often do you go to a doctor? Rarely".
The World Health Day is celebrated annually on the April 7th.
