XIIth edition of Mesterul Manole International Folk Festival started in Criuleni
The XIIth edition of Mesterul Manole International Folk Festival started in Criuleni. The event targets to promote the cultural values and develop the relationship between the countries.
Within the festival, dozens of popular man crafts presented their work.
Among the participants we found Vasile Goncear from Hoginesti village.
"Here I have some souvenirs, pots", said Vasile Goncear, man craft.
The visitors of the festival don't leave the festival without purchasing something.
"We come to the festival every year. This year we want to buy a tractor made of wool."
At the event also there was a presentation of the national clothes.
The local authorities say that the festival gathered the most gifted dancers.
"The participants will receive a moral satisfaction when they will come to the festival", said Veaceslav Burlac, the president of Criuleni distrct.
At the event came the representatives of eight countries. It is about Romania, Russia, Belarus, Lithuania, Estonia, Azerbaidjan, Italy and even Congo.
"We came from Vaslui. Taking into consideration that we came here today, the hosts welcomed us. We feel very good here."
"We came from Congo. Moldova is a beautiful country, we have many fiends here."
Among the guests there was also Valentina Rotaru, the deputy of the PDM.
"It is very beautiful here. Every time I come here with pleasure. I am glad to be here", said Valentina Rotaru, PDM deputy.
After the official opening ceremony, everybody danced hora.
Mesterul Manole International Folk Festival take place once in two years and takes four days.
