Yellow warning of snow was issued for nine district from Moldova's south.

It foresees heavy snow, temporary blizzard and low visibility from March 23, 12:00 to March 24, 24:00 in Leova, Cimișlia, Căușeni, Ștefan Vodă, Basarabeasca, Cantemir, Cahul, Taraclia and Găgăuzia.

According to meteorologists, half of the South will experience heavy snow (7-15 l/m2 in 12 hours).

Risks:

-Low visibility;

-Increase chances of car crashes;

-Disturbance in traffic;

-Partial isolation;

-Destruction of construction sites, due to the heavy layer of snow;

-Telecommunication and electricity lines snapping.

Recommendations:

-Use slow speed when driving;

-Always have your headlights on;

-Avoid activities that consume much energy, such as pushing a car, to prevent hypothermia and heart disease;

-Ensure that the car is properly equipped for winter.
