Passers-by all over Moldova have received today small national flags on the Day of the National Flag, in an initiative of the young Democrats.

The young activists have also talked with the people about the colors of the Moldovan banner.

The young Democrats have spread out over 1,000 flags in Chisinau’s downtown.

"The message is that we must be proud of our country. It’s only shoulder to shoulder,  regardless of the political colors that we will build a society better, more tolerant and more prosperous," said their leader Alexandru Cauia.
