Young man from Donduseni says he was assaulted by police officer
                          A man from Donduseni district is under penal searches after he accuses a policeman. He went talk with the policeman about his complains according to the investigation, where he is implicated and pretends he was hit. The policeman refused to comment on the situation. Instead, the leading of the Inspectorate say the prosecutor applied the force, because the young man was violent.
Cristian Palamarciuc is under penal searches, being suspected in stealing a child. The 24 year old man considers himself not guilty, this is why he asked the prosecutor to give him explanations. After the incident, the victim got a penal case on hooliganism, writes Prime.md.
He was detained for 72 hours and they arrested.
The mother of the young man is disappointed his son wasn't released after 72 hours.
"His hands and clothes were full of blood, his jacket was broken. The pants and the jacket were also full of blood", said Valentina Palamariuc, the mother of the young man.
"I asked to make the expertise in Drochia. They told me they will release him and then we will be able to make the expertise. Now, I can see they detained him for 30 days'', said Valentina Palamarciuc, the mother of the young man.
The policeman accused of aggression refused to make declarations for the press. Instead, the deputy chief of the Police Inspectorate of Donduseni said the young man was drunk and injured the policeman.
"The policeman tried to curb the actions of the young man. Thus, the policeman needed to apply the force, as the man rejected the legal requirements", said Vadim Palamarciuc, the deputy director of the Donduseni Police Inspectorate.
The prosecutor of the case explained why couldn't the young man be released.
"Why did you consider this arrest was necessary?
-This man can commit other crimes, thus, we needed to prevent it'', said Veaceslav Vacari, prosecutor.
The Prosecutor's office opened a penal case on the name of the policeman.
"The Prosecutor's office verifies the case according to the 174 article, to establish if he was mistreated by the police officer, according to 166 article of the constitution", said Veaceslav Vacari.
The young man risks up to four years in prison. At the same time, if the policeman found guilty, he risks six years in prison.
