Young people to design interface to display political financing and electoral campaigns
Second edition of InnoVoter, elections creative laboratory, has been launched and will train 30 young people passionate for technologies and innovations. Its mission is to create a display interface of data regarding political party financing and electoral campaigns.
For three days, they will work in six teams and create the most easily used ingenious correct methods to present these data.
By this event, Central Electoral Commission want to raise citizens's awareness about electoral process in our country.
The event takes place in the framework of the “Enhancing democracy in Moldova through inclusive and transparent elections” project implemented by UNDP Moldova with the financial of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the British Embassy in Chisinau through the Good Governance Fund and by the Embassy of Netherlands through Matra Programme.
This year, the Central Electoral Commission will launch the new electronic reporting tool for the financing of parties and electoral contestants - the "Financial Control" module.
The new module will modernize the process of submission of financial reports by all electoral competitors and will automate their verification by the Central Electoral Commission. A key element of the module is the publication of the data on the official website of the Commission, which is also the task of the InnoVoter participants.
