Youngsters celebrate Halloween in Chisinau night club (video)
Hundreds of young people celebrated Halloween last night in clubs, disguised as monsters, vampires and witches.
The youngsters had been preparing for hours to look like the characters in the horror movies. Some opted for ingenious makeup, and others chose original costumes.
"It took me three hours, I made this thing myself, and I already bought the costume. It's actually a skeleton, and make-up is all in this style."
"It took us about 30 minutes - 40 minutes. We had a specialist who made us makeup."
Halloween parties will be organized in Chisinau until 31 October.
Halloween is typically celebrated as a secular holiday in the U.S. Many people celebrate Halloween by dressing up in costumes ranging from their favorite character in a movie, a pop culture reference or their favorite animal (more on that below). Some people, often children, will spend the evening hours of the holiday trick or treating for candy.
