The parliamentary elections that took place on the last Sunday respected the democratic standards, even if the CSI observers announced about some encroaches. This declaration belongs to Maria Zaharova, the spokesman of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to her, the international observers confirmed that the voting was correct. Zaharova also added that Russian wants to improve its relationship with Moldova.

"We hope that the next Parliament will fulfill people's interests. We have always wanted better relationship with Moldova. From my point of view, both countries should be interested in it", mentioned Maria Zaharova.
