Business of a Moldovan woman, bankrupt by border guards. No car and no cargo, as a result
A 31 years old Moldovan woman punished with the fine of over MDL40.000 by the Romanian border police. It happened as a result of an inspection, after border guards discovered 8,800 cigarettes hidden in the fuel tank of the car. The driver was a young woman with dual citizenship.
The woman said she was planning to sell cigarettes in Botosani.
As a result, the cigarettes with Republic of Moldova’s time stamps in the amount of over MDL57,000 were confiscated.
Moreover, the woman was elected with fine over MDL40,000 and her car was confiscated.
