A Moldovan woman is accused of stealing hundreds of thousands of euros from an old woman from Italy, whom she allegedly cared for for six years.

The Italian press writes that the victim had full confidence in his caregiver, a 49-year-old Moldovan woman, and paid her a decent monthly salary.

The latter allegedly managed to steal the amount of 300 thousand euros from the old woman, through several bank transfers and transactions, after which she fled to the Republic of Moldova. Everything was discovered by the victim's daughter. She turned to lawyers for justice.

The Moldovan woman is now being charged by the Italian authorities with fraud, and judges are seeking a two-year prison sentence.
