Over 1,000 people diagnosed with arthritis are hospitalized annually in Republican Hospital
Approximately 1,300 people are hospitalized annually diagnosed with arthritis at the Republican Hospitalin the Capital.
According to doctors, in Moldova, the most common is rheumatoid arthritis, which is manifested through pain in the hands and feet, weight loss or loss of appetite.
Most often the elderly are affected, but there are people who inherit the genetic disease.
On October 11th, 12 specialists will provide free examinations in the Republican Hospital Square on the eve of World Arthritis Day.
The event is marked the seventh consecutive year in the country.
