100 Moldovans will attend the harshest marathon from Europe (PHOTO)
Almost 100 runners from Moldova will attend Transylvania 100k marathon from Europe.
The sportsmen will compete on distances between 20 and 75 kilometers, in Romania.
"Three years ago we were just beginning to get involved in such projects. Now, many Moldovans attend a lot of competitions all over Europe", said Iulian Bercu, Run Moldova NGO President.
According to Iulian Bercu, this result is due to an efficient partnership between the Education, Culture and Research Minister and the Minister of Interior Affairs.
Run Moldova Preisdent thinks that the increase of the number of persons who participate at many competitions contribute to the organization of competitions in Moldova.
Transylvania 100k is a mountain competition that takes place near the Bran castle.
The sportsmen should run on distances of 20, 30, 50, 80 and 100 kilometers. At this year's edition, the distances are lower, because of the weather conditions.
RunMoldova NGO has 1.000 members whoa attended 15 international competitions over the past years.
