The letters for Santa Claus were collected for a couple of times weeks from the whole country. Now, the letters were packed-up and will be sent to Santa Claus soon.
In their way to Laponia, the adventurers will collect letters of children from all over the world.
''Not only children from Moldova wrote letters, but from the whole Europe. There are letters from Romania, Hungary, Serbia, Poland, Austria, Germany, Finland and even Norway, the most north point of Europe'', said Ilie Toma, the organizer of the expedition.
The adventurers assure that the letters will arrive at the destination.
''We will have a private visit, as we are a delegation from Republic of Moldova and we have the opportunity to transmit to Santa all the letters'', said Dan Untura, participant at the expedition.
It is a long way to travel, eight thousand kilometers. The men supplied their cars with all the necessary.
''Here there are some testers, electronic things, everything required for wheel, cables. We have winter chains, as the roads there are cleared very seldom'' said Anatol Untura, participant at the expedition.
It is the third year the expedition takes place and this will be three weeks long.
