12 years old from Cahul criminally investigated for bomb hoax panic in Capital
A 12-year-old child is criminally investigated in Cahul for bomb hoax.
Recently, 902 services have received a call from a citizen of the Capital, who in her turn, received an anonymous call warning that her apartment block had a land mine.
Bomb disposal experts from the General Police Inspectorate were dispatched to search all floors and the basement of the block, having not managed to find any sort of explosive device.
According to the information, the minor, along with a classmate, have performed the call, having randomly inserted the phone number. The child has confessed to his actions.
Despite being a 12-year-old, police are criminally investigating the bomb hoax, which foresees a 11 000 to 17 000 lei fine, 180 to 240 hours of unpaid community services, or to 2 years of imprisonment.
