Kiev street from Rascani sector of the Capital will be lightened. 120 LED light bulbs will be installed on the sidewalks and carriageable.

Due to the LEDs, the costs of the electric energy will be reduced by 50%.

The modernization works of the lightening system costed 600 thousand lei.

"We will provide the citizens' comfort. This means comfort, more people on streets. The street lightening and the roads are the biggest issues of the city", said Ruslan Codreanu, the interim of the Capital.

"We worked in two teams along three weeks. It was always hard to work. There was never a street lightening in this zone", said Vitalie Butucel, the interim of Transport Direction.

Totally, the municipality allocated 14,2 million lei for the modernization of ten streets.

Alba Iulia, Ciuflea, Kiev streets, Mirceal cel Batran and Viaduct have already been lightened.
