15 employees of National Agency for Public Health contract coronavirus
After an employee of the National Agency for Public Health tested positive for coronavirus last week, all the people she interacted with are self-isolating and monitored by family doctors. Some of them didn't show any symptoms while others were tested for coronavirus which resulted in 14 positive cases.
All infected persons are currently admitted to the hospital, according to an ANSA statement.
Vladislav Cotici, the ANSA General Director, strongly recommended that the elderly or persons with chronic diseases should self-isolate and call the family doctor immediately when they show the first symptoms.
ANSA head office has been quarantined in order to prevent the coronavirus from spreading.
The Exceptional Situations Commission has announced the budget-paid employees will stay home until April 17.
