2 500 jobs available in Orhei, after opening a wiring factory
2 500 new jobs were created in Orhei. The company Sumitomo Electric Bordnetze opened a wiring factory, on a 27 square meters. The investments are over 30 million euros. The factory will make wiring, electric components and electronic components for cars.
''This project will be a success, because from the result will gain everybody: the company, the budget of the country, budget of the town, people from the region will have jobs in decent conditions. I am sure we will have a success, because I hope on the brand that we work with, because it obliges us to be good in what we do'', said Igor Corman, the director of SBNEMD.
''Japanese capital, German technology, Poland experience and total implication of Moldovan. All of these will lead us to success'', declared Oliver Schacht, the executive director of Sumitomo Electric Bordnetze.
At the present moment, there are more than 500 employees at the company. They have European working conditions, social package and an average salary of 6 500 lei.
People say that due to this company, people will leave the thought of going abroad.
''I am happy that I am close to my child. I am happy I have a job in my country.''
''-How are the conditions here? -Very good. They give us a meal per day, it is clean, also, they provide us with free transportation.''
''The conditions are very good. We are very glad. I took some courses at the factory, with Poland, Ukraine and Romanian instructors.''
The Prime Minister Pavel Filip says the opening of the factory shows that the things in our country are going right.
The foreign investors don't come on invitation. We need to work for this to attract them. Due to the opening of this factory, I started to believe that the things in our country are going right'', said Pavel Filip.
According to the statistics, the total volume of the investments in the economic spheres is up to 305 million USD. In the country there are 15 factories of this type.
''For the future two years, we are planning to attract over 250 million USD investments and to make the number of the employees double. At the present moment, we already have over 12 thousand people employed in the Free Economic Zone'', declared Octavian Calmic, the Minister of Economy and Infrastructure.
The Deputy Minister of Economy and Infrastructure, Vitalie Iurcu had a meeting with the spokesmen of a Japanese company, specialized in fabrication of the steel components.
The company is ready to invest in an Agricultural factory from Moldova.
