Three Romanian citizens carrying 246 kilograms of fish without the legal documents were found by border guards.

While patrolling along the Danube river, border police discovered two Dacia cars next to two men, aged 38 and 43 from Galati. 

After checking the cars, the police discovered 246 kilograms of fish of different species (carp, sleep, chalice, pike) worth 4,867 lei without legal documents along with other tools.

The police handed all fishes to commercial company for profiling. The fishing gear worth 3,500 lei, the pneumatic boat worth 300 lei were raised for the continuation of the researches.

Border police are carrying out investigations for this case.
