22 kindergartens and one gymnasium are closed because of unfavorable weather conditions or damaged heating systems.

According to Ministry of Education, they are preschool institutions from districts Leova, Ocnita, Briceni, Cahul, Causeni, and Nisporeni attended by over 1,000 children.

Also because of weather conditions, 60 students from 3 districts, who should have been transported with school buses, could not go to classes.

Also, a gymnasium from Cantemir district was temporarily closed because of a damage of the heating system. For the same reason was also closed a kindergarten from Causeni district and one from Nisporeni district.
