24 persons received honor medals on Independence Day. Among them there are rescues, carabiners, doctors, people of culture, teachers and so on.

"Maxim Scripcaras, receives the Medal of Democracy for the aid he brought to the community. You have seem him on the screen, he saved lives."

Our Ambassador to the ONU also received a medal for promoting our values on the international arena.

"Mr. Moraru is the one who helps us promote our values within the international community."

Among the ones who were awarded was Ion Ababii and Nicolae Dabija.

"I am honored to receive this title. I think that the Republic of Moldova is on the right path", said Nicolae Dabija, writer.

Petru Caduc, sports master, Tatiana Ghidirimschi and Galina Rosca doctors, Ludmila Ursu and Maria Suceveanu teachers and the musician Alex Calancea were awarded.

Andrian Candu says that all these people had a remarkable contribution in promoting the image of our country.

"These citizens of Republic of Moldova try to do something to develop our country", said Andrian Candu, the President of the Parliament.
