The great Moldovan actor Mihai Volontir will have a monument in the northern town of Balti, where lived his entire life. The local administration plans to erect it on the Classics Alley in downtown.

Five Moldovan architects have proposed their sketches for the statue, as the actor’s widow says the future monument must also render the spirit of Mihai Volontir.

The Bălţi townsfolks are glad their town will have a monument dedicated to the renowned actor, as the blue prints contest will end in a month.
