US Embassy to Chisinau congratulates Moldova for reaching arrangement with IMF
The U.S. Embassy to Moldova has posted a message on its Facebook page, appreciating the IMF experts' endorsement of an agreement with the Government.
"The U.S. Embassy offers its congratulations to the Moldovan authorities on this laudable development," reads the post.
PUBLIKA.MD reminder: An IMF mission was in Moldova in July 5-15 and reached an agreement with the Government to conclude a new cooperation program.
The IMF three-year arrangement provides for a loan of $179 million. The decision is yet to be endorsed by the IMF board in October.
