State institutions will no longer be hiring until the end of the year. Government set moratorium on the number of employees, starting with August 1 to make budget savings and not exceed the limits of the budget deficit.

Following this decision, the institution's vacancies will not be filled.

In this context, the Minister of Finance, Octavian Armaşu said that over 4,500 jobs will be frozen, and the state will save around 150 million lei.

In these circumstances, the state institutions will have to fulfill their duties with the number of employees there have.

"To make budget savings and to keep them within budget deficit which includ in the agreement with IMF. Each institution , ministry need to do the tasks with the number of people available today ", said Minister of Finance Octavian Armaşu.
