Prime Minister Pavel Filip urged the Ministry of Education to provide information about the level of preparation of educational institutions for the new school year at the Government's meeting.

The Head of the Government also requested the Ministry of Finance to carry out the necessary transfers.

"I want to ask the Ministry of Finance to have no transfers with special destination for Education in the territories left. So that we can start this school year. Children should start the school year on schedule" , said Pavel Filip.

At the same time, the Ministry of Education meeting with the heads of district schools, local authorities noted that repair works are on home stretch, and on September 1st all schools will be ready.

According to the Ministry of Education, this year, 480 million lei have been allocated for schools reparations.
